Experience Physiotherapist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients with various musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions. This role requires clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Practice:

  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and evaluations of patients with diverse conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals
  • Provide hands-on treatment including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and specialized techniques
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff

Patient Care:

  • Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs
  • Provide discharge planning and recommendations for continued care
  • Ensure patient safety and maintain infection control protocols
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and patient-centered care approaches

Professional Development:

  • Stay current with evidence-based practice and continuing education requirements
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research when appropriate
  • Mentor junior staff and students as needed
  • Attend team meetings, case conferences, and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program
  • Current license to practice physiotherapy in the jurisdiction
  • Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Professional liability insurance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialized certifications in areas such as orthopedics, neurology, or manual therapy
  • Experience with electronic health record systems
  • Previous experience in acute care, outpatient, or rehabilitation settings
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with rehabilitation equipment
